Farben und Formen auf Kulturreisen | Colours and Forms on Cultural Voyages
Farben und Formen? Was war als erstes wahrgenommen worden? Dies ist die Frage, mit der ich mich schon seit Jahren beschäftige. Auf meinen Reisen war und bin ich begeistert von der Vielfalt der Farben und Formen. Naheliegend ist die persönliche Auseinandersetzung mit der Bedeutung der Farben, aber auch mit der Deutung von Formen und Zeichen (Symbolen). Die Kultur und Tradition der einzelnen Ethnien haben einen erheblichen Einfluss auf die Bedeutung der Farbenwelt.
Meine Bilder laden ein zu individuellen Entdeckungsreisen. Lassen Sie sich durch die Farben und Formen verführen. Vielleicht wird bei Ihnen das Auge geschärft und die Neugierde auf eigene Kulturreisen geweckt. Beat Ted Hannemann
On countless voyages colours and forms have a great influence on me and my previous art work. I transform my inspiration within paintings in oil on canvas or collages with watercolour technique on paper. These two technics are suitable to express my colourful art.
During my creative process I remember places which I visit. For moments I live in an other world full of different shades and shapes. My sences are totally awaken. The atmosphere in my paintings is essential. I am focused on the quality of lihgt and darkness. The light is different everywhere. I feel the differnce in Toscany, the hights of the Himalayan Ranges or on the North Cost of Morocco, as examples.
I will invite you on a side-seeing tour throughout my paintings. Be seduced by my colours and forms. Clear your eyes. Maybe you might be inspired to get closer wiht other cultures at he end. Beat Ted Hannemann
"Erhalte die Farbigkeit der Erde!"
Auf unzähligen Reisen in nah und fern haben Farben und Formen auf mich zu meinen aktuellen, künstlerischen Arbeiten motiviert. Die Inspirationen setze ich in Bildern um, mit Ölfarbe auf Leinwand oder auch in Collagen Aquarelltechnik auf Papier. Diese bildnerischen Gestaltungsformen haben sich in meinen Werken in idealer Weise ergänzt.
Der gestalterische Prozess löst bei mir Erinnerungen an die besuchten Orte und Kulturräume aus. Plötzlich stehe ich wieder in mitten des (Farb-)Geschehens. Für Stunden tut sich eine andere Welt auf mit unterschiedlichen Farben und Formen (Symbolen). Meine Sinne sind erwacht! Das Atmosphärische ist in meinen Arbeiten sehr wichtig. Ein besonderes Merkmal stellt die veränderliche Qualität des Lichts dar. Licht ist nicht gleich Licht! Es lässt sich z.B. in der Toskana anders empfinden als in den Höhen des Himalaja oder an der nordafrikanischen Küste.
Colours and forms. What was first? Since years I try to find any answer. On my cultural voyages I was and still I am very enthusiastic about the diversity of colours and forms. For me is obvious to study the meaning of colours and their symbols. Each culture and its traditions has an enormous impact of the meaning of colours.

Dieses Gemälde führt uns die unterschiedlichen Kulturräume vor Augen. Es sind Landschaften der ehemaligen Byzanz. Vielfälltig sind die Formen und die Farben. Auch die Atmosphäre zeigt sich jeweils in einem anderen Licht. Die Sinne werden wach und man kann die Essenz des jeweiligen Standortes über all unsere Sinne spüren.
This picture leads us to different cultural areas in mind. There are landscapes of the former Byzantine Empire. Differentiated are the shapes and colors. The atmosphere is reflected in a different light. The senses are awake and you can feel the essence of each location with all our senses.

Hell und Dunkel / Light and Dark
Hell und Dunkel als äusserste Polaritäten. Aus diesen optischen Extremen entstehen Formen jeglicher Schattierung. Es ist dem Modellieren aus Lehm ähnlich. Ich konzentriere mich nur auf die daraus entstehende Form. Farbkontraste, die den Aufbau eines Bildes erschweren, fallen bei diesem Bildprozess weg.
Light and dark as extreme polarities. Out of these optical extremes forms emerge in any shading. It is similar to the modeling with clay. I focus only on the resulting form. Color contrasts, which make it difficult to work out a picture, fall off during this process.
