| Colours and forms. What was first? For this question I try to find any answer since years. On my countless cultural journeys I was and I am still very enthusiastic about the diversity of colours and forms. Keep up our colourful earth!

Aus meinem Tagebuch/Out of my dairy, Tabo Gompa (Aquarell/Watercolour)
Tabo Gompa, 23.07.1999 (Beat Ted Hannemann)
It is like to put something into the earth, which should grow.Again and againe I’am at the place to inaugurate something new.At the beginning many things seems similar.New ideas are associated with hope. Beside the mind focuses on its success.Even if it does not behave as we expect.Let not hang your head down, it is not necessery!Imagination and daring bring us the next time to the next step on the ladder.
Tapo Gompa, 07/23/1999 (Beat Ted Hannemann)
The diaries, which I had written and draw in Tabo Gompa/Western Tibet inspired me for the above series of watercolor paintings. Simpley you can see the way how colour becomes form (Paintings: Beat Ted Hannemann).

Farben von Radschastan, Indien | Colours of Rajasthan, India
Bild: © Beat Ted Hannemann
Rajasthan is a country full of contrasts. Colours are essential in daily life. Painting is the main artistic distipline and reflects the strong love for colour expression and its symbolic. The contrasts dedicate the style and the characters of typical rajasthani life. Afer long observation I did my decision for the composition above. In my opinion the artwork reflects the world of colours of Rajasthan most. For ex. the miniature painting of Rajasthan uses till now pigments out of minerals and plants.Painting: Beat Ted Hannemann
Mystik von West-Tibet | Myth of West Tibet
Bild: © Beat Ted Hannemann
Reaktion: Ein wunderschoenes Bild, klasse. Die Farben harmonieren sehr schoen.M.F.
Here, I try to express the myth of this specific culture and spirit. I used adequate colours and forms. We see Buudha and the holy Bodhi tree (primeval tree) opposite. The river represents "Mama Ganga". Life rises out of river Ganges. Painting: Beat Ted Hannemann
Reaction: A beautiful image, great. The colours are harmoniuos .M.F.
Frühling in Narvik, Norwegen | Spring in Narvik, Norway
Bild: © Beat Ted Hannemann
Reaches water after land or land after water? The native character of "Nordland" with its facets was the challenge of this painting. The contrast of light and darkness expresses a vivid transition. The atmosphere makes the whole picture livelier. Painting: Beat Ted Hannemann
Maleri: Beat Ted Hannemann
